Beta Design Group, P.C. is a professional corporation practicing in the
fields of architecture and structural engineering.
Prior to 1992 the company was a sole proprietorship owned by W. Jarrell Brumbley. The company has
expanded and is now managed by E. Michael (Mike) Shackley, A.I.A. The company has it's office in
Tucker, Georgia and celebrates over twenty years in business. The company focuses
on projects in the Atlanta area, but has designed many projects extending throughout the southeast and
the country.
Beta Design Group, P.C. is well versed in many project types and building
systems, including concrete tilt-up, brick veneer and block backup, insulated metal panels, structural
steel framing, precast concrete, wood framing, steel framing and pre-engineered metal buildings.
Newly expanded Beta Design Group now has experience in the field of historic preservation and the
construction of a wide variety of project types including resort work, residential, religious
facilities, commercial office buildings and office/warehouse buildings. We can assist you with your expansion or renovation needs.

(CADD) technology to economically serve the needs of our clients. Every effort is made in meeting your
schedule and budget requirements. We will approach your project in the following manner:
We understand that each line we draw costs money and we are conscious of how we spend a
client's dollars. Our reputation is founded on being a "contractor's architect and engineer". We
demonstrate that we are a fully cooperative part of the construction team.
We will strive to understand the contractor's preferences of how to build the project and his
processes. We understand the sequences and are very familiar with the fast-tracking delivery
system.
Our project teams work on one project at a time for maximum concentration and personal
assistance. At any one time our staff of technical personnel handles up to five projects, four of
which are typically light industrial with a metal building or conventional framing system. We
understand urgency. We understand that commitments are made and we do our part to make them
achievable.
